Miranda and I had the chance to work with Spun Gold TV at Channel 5 on site at Chenies Manor, one of the UK’s finest Tudor Mansion Houses. The Grade I listed building is set in Buckinghamshire’s estate village of Chenies and overlooks the Chess Valley. The celebrity cast for the programme included; Sue Pollard, Keith Duffy and Angela Rippon. We were asked to create and develop a 1920's/30s style dinner party menu using Auguste Escoffier as our reference point. We made savory and sweet dishes including; a game terrine; asparagus Polonaise ; consomme of jelly; Duchess potatoes and white and dark chocolate blancmanges. A big thanks to all involved for another successful food development and filming session.
